Term & Condition BBO

Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: May 2025

1. Understanding These Terms
Welcome to BBO Events! These Terms of Use ("Terms") explain the rules for using our online services and platform (collectively, "our Services" or "the Platform"). Our Services are provided by Bizgital Asia Sdn. Bhd. (Company Registration No. 202501016174 (1617588-X)), which we’ll refer to as "BBO Events," "we," "us," or "our." Our registered office is at 3 TOWERS, T3-13-16, Jalan AMPANG, Kampung BEREMBANG, 50450 KUALA LUMPUR, W.P. KUALA LUMPUR.
When you use any part of our Services, like buying tickets, Browse events, or accessing any content or links related to us, you're agreeing to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you don't agree with these Terms, you shouldn't use our Services.
The words "you," "your," "user," or "Patron" mean anyone using our Services, especially for buying tickets. An "Event Organiser" or "EO" is the person or company that puts on an event.

2. Changes to These Terms
We may need to update or change these Terms occasionally. When we do, we'll post the new version on our Platform. The changes will apply as soon as they are posted. We encourage you to check this page regularly to stay informed. If you keep using our Services after we’ve changed the Terms, it means you accept the new Terms.

3. Using Our Platform & Our Content
You can use our Platform and its information to find events and buy tickets for your personal, non-business use. You agree not to misuse our Platform or any services or links related to us. This includes not trying to hack it, use automated tools like robots or spiders for unauthorized reasons, or do anything that puts too much strain on our systems.
Everything on our Platform (and in services or links related to us), like the software, text, graphics, and logos, belongs to Bizgital Asia Sdn. Bhd. or is licensed to us. You can't copy, share, change, or use this content in any way for business or public purposes without our written permission first, unless the law allows it.

4. Our Role: Connecting You with Event Organisers
BBO Events acts as a service provider and agent, selling tickets and related items ("Tickets") for Event Organisers (EOs). EOs are the ones who arrange, host, and are responsible for the events themselves.
Important Clarification: When you buy a ticket through BBO Events, you're buying it from the EO. BBO Events is the middleman facilitating this sale. The EO is responsible for the event itself, including its quality, delivery, and content. If you have an issue with the event (not the ticketing process through our Platform), you'll generally need to address it with the EO. BBO Events is not liable for the event's delivery or content.
Your purchase contract for the Ticket is with BBO Events acting as the EO's agent. The EO's own terms and conditions for the event ("Event Specific Terms") also apply. You should read these before buying. You can usually find them on the event page on our Platform or the EO’s website. We collect payment from you and pass it on to the EO according to our agreement with them. Generally, all sales are final unless stated otherwise in these Terms, by the EO, or as required by applicable law.

5. Your BBO Events Account
To use some of our Services, you might need an account. You're responsible for keeping your account username and password secret and for any activity that happens under your account. Don't share your account details or let others use your account.
Let us know immediately if you think someone has accessed your account without permission. Don't create multiple accounts to get around our rules or to hide your identity.
We can suspend or close your account, cancel your orders, or stop you from using our Services if:
 - You or someone using your account acts in an abusive or threatening way.
 - We think there's been fraud or illegal activity linked to your account.
 - We suspect unauthorized use of your account (like reselling tickets against the rules).
 - A legal or regulatory body tells us to.
 - You break these Terms or any other relevant rules (like the EO's terms).
We might also run checks or ask for more information to confirm purchases. If we suspect a fraudulent order, we can cancel it without warning, and those tickets will be void. Payment processing depends on your bank or payment provider's approval. If payment fails after an order seems to go through, we'll try to contact you. If we can't reach you, we might cancel your order.

6. Ticket Prices, What's Available, and Our Fees
- Ticket Availability: Since we sell tickets for EOs, they decide on things like seat maps, ticket quantities, and when tickets are released. Popular events can sell out fast. Sometimes, more tickets become available closer to the event, but we don't control this inventory.
- Ticket Prices: EOs set the base ticket prices. These prices can sometimes change due to promotions or demand. You won't get a refund or credit if the price you paid was higher than an earlier price, or if other tickets (even similar ones) are sold cheaper later.
- Fees and Charges: The ticket price displayed is usually the base price from the EO. On top of this, there will be other charges clearly shown during checkout. These can include applicable taxes, our booking/handling fees (for providing the ticketing service, platform upkeep, and payment processing), and any delivery fees if you choose physical ticket delivery. These fees vary by event.
- Pricing Mistakes: If we find a mistake in the price of tickets you've ordered (whether it's our error or an error in information from the EO), we'll let you know as soon as possible. You'll have the choice to confirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we can't get in touch with you, we'll treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel after paying the wrong price, you'll get a full refund for the amount you paid to us.

7. Event Changes: Cancellations & Rescheduling (and Refund Process)
If an EO cancels or reschedules an event, we'll do our best to inform you using the contact details in your BBO Events account (so please keep them current!). However, we can't guarantee you'll hear before the event date. It’s always a good idea for you to check if an event has been changed, perhaps by checking our Platform or the EO's official channels.
Event Cancellations by EO: If an EO cancels an event entirely, their refund policy will apply. This typically means you'll be eligible for a refund of the ticket's face value from the EO. Our booking/handling fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law or the EO explicitly agrees to cover them in their refund.
Event Rescheduling by EO: If an EO reschedules an event, your tickets will usually be valid for the new date. If you can't make the new date, the EO's refund policy will dictate whether a refund is possible. Sometimes, refunds (if offered by the EO) are only processed after the new date is confirmed by the EO.
EO's Refund Policy is Key: Please remember, BBO Events is the ticketing partner. The tickets, the event itself, and the ultimate responsibility for providing refunds belong to the Event Organiser. Therefore, all refund policies, decisions, and processes are determined and managed by the Event Organiser.
We will communicate the EO's refund instructions to you as provided to us by the EO.
If an EO approves refunds, there will usually be a specific timeframe and method they set to request one. If you don't follow the EO's process by their deadline, you might lose your chance for a refund.
If an Event Organiser cancels an event and does not provide us with a clear mechanism or funds to process refunds on their behalf, or if they fail to respond to our communications regarding refunds, BBO Events will have to direct affected Patrons to contact the Event Organiser directly to process their refund claims. We will provide you with the EO's available contact information for this purpose. BBO Events cannot be responsible for issuing refunds if the EO does not fulfill their obligation to do so.
Refunds, when processed by us on behalf of and with funds from the EO, can take 15-30 business days (or sometimes longer) to appear in your account, depending on banks and payment gateways.

8. Other Refund Points, Exchanges, and Lost Tickets
How Refunds Are Paid: When a refund is due and processed (as per the EO's policy and provision of funds), it will be paid back to the original payment method you used. As mentioned, our booking/handling fees and any delivery fees are usually not refundable, unless the law (like Malaysia's Consumer Protection Act 1999) or the EO explicitly states otherwise.
No Exchanges or Refunds for Other Reasons: Before buying, please double-check your event and seat choices. As agents for the EO, we generally don't offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind, can't attend for personal reasons, or due to things like bad weather (unless the event itself is cancelled by the EO because of it).
Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Tickets: We typically can't offer refunds or exchanges for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets as the tickets are under the EO's control. In some rare cases, if you let us know well before the event and the EO's policy allows, and we can verify your purchase and effectively cancel the original ticket, the EO might allow for a replacement, possibly for an administration fee. This is entirely at the EO's discretion.

9. Getting Your Tickets
Delayed Dispatch: For some events, EOs may decide that tickets will only be sent out closer to the event date to help prevent unauthorized resale. We'll let you know if this is the case.
Electronic Tickets (E-tickets): If you choose e-tickets, it's up to you to:
Log into your BBO Events account to download or access them before the event.
Provide a correct email address and make sure you can receive emails from us (check your spam/junk folders!). If they're mobile tickets, ensure your phone can display them.
Delivery Issues: We're not responsible (and won't offer refunds) if ticket delivery fails because you gave us wrong information, weren't available to receive them (if physical), or didn't download them correctly from our Platform.
Collecting at the Venue: Even if you choose another delivery method, we or the EO might sometimes need to make tickets available for pickup at the event venue. If so, we'll notify you. You'll likely need your booking confirmation, ID, and the payment card used.
Check Your Tickets ASAP: Once you get your tickets, check them right away for any mistakes. If something's wrong, tell us immediately. If you wait too long (e.g., more than 5 days after receiving them or too close to the event), we might not be able to help rectify errors.

10. Event Rules & Your Conduct
Recording & Photography: EOs often have rules about cameras and recording devices at events. You agree not to record or broadcast the event for business purposes or in a way that infringes on rights, unless the EO allows it.
Your Image: By attending, you agree that the EO can use your image or likeness if it's captured in photos or videos of the event, for any media, without needing further permission or payment to you, as per their event policies.
Searches: For safety and security, you might be searched when entering an event, according to the EO's and venue's policies. By buying a ticket or using one to enter, you agree to this. If you refuse a search, you might not be allowed in, without a refund from the EO.
Forbidden Items: EOs have rules about what you can't bring into a venue (e.g., weapons, outside food/drink, drugs, professional recording gear). If you bring prohibited items, they might be taken away by EO or venue staff, and neither we nor the EO are responsible for them.

11. If You Break These Rules
We can look into any suspected breaches of these Terms, security issues, or illegal activities related to our Services or any links provided by us. If we find you've broken these rules, we can, without warning:
Limit, suspend, or permanently close your account.
Cancel any tickets you've bought (without a refund from us, refund eligibility would be per EO policy).
Stop you from using our Services in the future.
If required by law or authorities, we may share your information for investigations.
We can also report any activity we think is illegal or breaks these Terms to the authorities.

12. Our Brand and Others'
The "BBO Events" name, our logos, and other related marks on our Platform or any related services belong to Bizgital Asia Sdn. Bhd. Any other trademarks you see belong to their respective owners (like EOs). You can't use any of these trademarks without written permission from us or the trademark owner.

13. Your Privacy
Our BBO Events Personal Data Policy (a link will be provided here once available) explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. It's a part of these Terms. By using our Services, you agree to how we handle your data as described in that policy.

14. Our Responsibility (and What We're Not Responsible For)
Event Risks: Attending any event has inherent risks, like getting sick or injured. EOs should take reasonable safety measures, but you attend at your own risk. By buying a ticket through us or attending an event, you accept these risks. Neither the EO nor BBO Events (as agent) is liable for loss, injury, or damage unless it's directly due to our gross negligence in providing our ticketing service. The EO is responsible for event safety.
Follow Rules: You must follow all government health advice and safety instructions from the EO at the event.
Your Own Expenses: If an event is changed or cancelled by the EO, we and the EO are generally not responsible for any extra costs you've incurred, like travel or accommodation. You might want to consider travel insurance for this.
Denied Entry/Property: We're not liable if you're refused entry or removed from an event by the EO or venue staff for breaking rules, or for any personal items lost or damaged at an event.
Our Financial Limit: To the fullest extent the law allows, if BBO Events is found liable to you for any reason directly related to our ticketing services under these Terms, our maximum total liability will be limited to RM100 (one hundred Malaysian Ringgit) or the total face value of the ticket(s) you bought through us in the specific transaction that caused the issue, whichever is more. We are not liable for indirect losses like loss of profit or opportunity. (This limit might not apply if certain laws say otherwise).
We can also suspend or close accounts if a user's actions could harm us, and we won't be liable for damages from that action.

15. Your Agreement to Protect Us
You agree to cover BBO Events (Bizgital Asia Sdn. Bhd.) and its team against any claims, losses, costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from:
(a) your use of our Services (including our Platform or any related links);
(b) you breaking any of these Terms;
(c) our use of any content you might provide (if applicable); or
(d) you violating someone else's rights (including an EO's or another Patron's).
Since we are an agent for EOs, if you have a dispute directly with an EO (about the event itself, its cancellation, or their refund policy, for example), you agree to release BBO Events from any claims or damages related to that dispute, as far as the law allows. We are not responsible for what EOs do or don't do, including their refund practices.

16. Other Important Legal Stuff
Full Agreement: These Terms, along with our Personal Data Policy (when available) and any Event Specific Terms from the EO, are the complete agreement between you and BBO Events for using our ticketing Services. If any part of this agreement isn't enforceable, the rest still applies.
Transferring this Agreement: We can transfer our rights and duties under these Terms to another company. You can't transfer yours without our written permission.
No Other Relationship: These Terms don't create any partnership, joint venture, or employer-employee relationship between you and us, other than our stated role as a ticketing agent for EOs.
Unexpected Events (Force Majeure): We won't be liable if we can't perform our ticketing service duties because of events beyond our reasonable control (like natural disasters, pandemics, wars, government orders, or major system failures affecting our Platform).
Our Rights: If you breach these Terms, we reserve the right to take any action we see fit, including legal steps.
Governing Law & Disputes: These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes related to these Terms or our ticketing services will be handled exclusively by the courts of Malaysia.
